Drilling Overview Completed over 40,000 soil borings with depths as deep as 200 feet Installed over 1,000 groundwater monitoring wells Soil sampling techniques include split-spoons per ASTM D 1586 or Shelby tubes per ASTM D 1587 Groundwater sampling uses the Hydropunch (Hydrocarbon and Water sampling mode) Considerable rock coring experience All sampling and testing is performed in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards  Drilling Equipment Six (6) drill rigs for soil borings, constructing, monitoring wells, and piezometers One push probe for shallow soil and groundwater sampling K & S drilling equipment includes: Truck-mounted drill rigs Diedrich D-50 rigs Diedrich D-120 rigs A track-mounted drill rig, CME 850 (all-terrain vehicle) Simco Earthprobe Geoprobe 6610 DT, track-mounted H & T auger rig for caisson drilling (drilled shafts)
